Meet MC Scorsone
(Marie-Carmelle)

I’ve been an athlete all my life, and always thought of myself as a typical A-type personality. Always pushing myself to do better, do more. It feels like I’ve done it all – years of ballet, running, mountain biking, snowboarding, strength training, cycling... As a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor, I still love these things. But after injuring myself too many times, I realized I needed to learn how to be more respectful of my body. I needed to listen to my body, not just push it harder.

My Yoga Journey

My quest led me to yoga. After over a decade as a certified 200 & 500 hours yoga instructor, and now as a certified yoga therapist (800 YTT), my approach is completely different. Your body can surprise you when you are fully present and acknowledging your unique abilities and challenges. I can do more now than I could do when I was younger because of my consistent mindful yoga practice.

Now my passion is helping others get their own bodies moving, re-learning how to become attuned to their own body and inner self, and providing a yoga practice that nourishes their body and soul in meaningful ways.
